What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a list of medications, and any recent medical or eye exam records if available.

How long does a retina appointment usually take?

Plan for 1.5 to 2 hours, dilation and imaging make a retina appointment longer than an appointment with your general ophthalmologist.

How do I schedule a follow-up appointment?

You can schedule a follow-up during your visit or call our office directly. We also send reminders to help you stay on track with your treatment plan.

Will my eyes be dilated during the visit?

Yes, most retina exams include pupil dilation, allowing us to evaluate the back of your eye fully. Bring sunglasses and consider arranging a ride if your vision may be affected temporarily.
