Diagnostic and Imaging Services
We use the latest technology to ensure accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment planning:
-
Color Fundus Photography – High-resolution imaging of the retina for monitoring disease progression
- Fundus Autofluorescence – Critical for evaluation of dry age-related macular degeneration with geographic atrophy
-
Fluorescein Angiography – Visualizes blood flow in the retina to detect leakage, blockage, or abnormal vessels
-
High-speed Indocyanine Green (ICG) Angiography – Specialized imaging for choroidal conditions
-
Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) – Non-invasive cross-sectional imaging of the retina for conditions like macular degeneration or macular holes
- Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography (OCTA) – Non-invasive imaging of the retinal and choroidal vessels without using intravenous dyes
- Electrophysiology– Both electroretinography (ERG) and Visual evoked potential (VEP) functional testing of the retina and optic nerve
-
Ocular Echography – Ultrasound imaging for evaluation of the retina and vitreous when the view is obscured
-
Visual Field Perimetry – Measures peripheral vision loss and detects subtle retinal or optic nerve disorders
Therapeutic Procedures
Our practice offers a full range of in-office and surgical treatments, including:
-
Laser Photocoagulation (green, yellow, red lasers) – Used for treating diabetic retinopathy, vein occlusions, and retinal tears
- Intravitreal Pharmacotherapy – Injection of medications directly into the eye for macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and more
-
Photodynamic Therapy – A light-activated treatment for certain types of macular degeneration
-
Cryotherapy – Freezing therapy to seal retinal breaks or treat tumors
-
Pneumatic Retinopexy – A minimally invasive treatment for select retinal detachments
- Intravenous Infusions – Sometimes used for managing vascular disorders
